Final Exam Tomorrow!
Hello all,I hope your 10.301 final went well and studying for tomorrow's 10.213 exam (Walker Memorial, 9:00AM) is going smoothly!
In case you haven't already seen it, I posted a review sheet for the post-Exam 3 material on Stellar yesterday night. There is also a discussion of Le Chatelier's principle that should clear up the confusion regarding HW11, but please let us know if you have any further questions!
And remember to bring to your exam:
- Four sheets of notes, front and back;
- Your textbook (Any appendices, e.g. the thermodynamic web, given
in previous exams that are also needed in this final exam will be
provided);
- A ruler/straight-edge;
- A calculator; and
- A good night's sleep!
Good luck studying, and we'll see you bright and early
tomorrow!

Final Exam Things
Hello all,Firstly, a reminder that subject evaluations close TOMORROW (Monday May 16) at 9:00 AM, so please fill them out if you haven't already done so. These evaluations will help us learn what worked and what didn't work so we can improve (and yes, we will read everything you tell us, so please tell us both positive and negative constructive feedback)! If you already have filled out evaluations, thank you very much!
Regarding what you should bring to the final:
- Four sheets of notes, front and back. This is likely to be
each of the 3 sheets you made for each of the midterms, plus one on
the last unit of material, but you are free to distribute the
material any way you wish.
- Your textbook. Any appendices (e.g. the thermodynamic
web) given in previous exams that are also needed in this final
exam will be provided. But, it'll ease your mind to have
your textbook if you can't find something you want on your note
sheets!
- A ruler/straight-edge. For McCabe-Thiele analysis, we know
the number of stages you count may depend on how accurate your
lines are, but please use a ruler to at least make your lines
straight!
Lastly, HW10 and other remaining homeworks can be picked up during the review sessions this week, Tuesday and Wednesday 1-4pm in 66-168.
Good luck studying for all of your finals!
