Hi all,

We did not have time to do our usual de-brief in .82 because of the pressure of the CDR slides. So it is even more important that you fill out the SEF.

Know you are quite busy (!) but this evaluation form gives us data that is very important and our department leaders as well as the professors take the data seriously. Please take a few minutes to fill it out. You should have a link in your email. The survey is only open until this weekend, I believe.

DUE DATES: clarification

Hi all,

We'll keep the same December 11th @ 11:59 p.m. due date for the design documents. Upload the version that you want us to look at. If it is the same as your earlier version, that's fine but upload it again so that we are sure. Grad students, if you have trouble, send directly to Jennifer and the professors.

The CDR slide deck can come in as late as December 16 (Sun) at 11:59 p.m. but if you can finish it and submit it earlier, that's good, too.

Happy to meet with anyone who wants to revise or talk about their design document writing.

Just want to say that I am glad to meet with anyone who wants to talk about revisions of their design document sections. The emphasis IS on the CDR deck, but for those of you who have emailed me, you are most welcome to come in to the office (33-320).

IMPORTANT UPDATE: Final CDR slides/documentation

Hi all,

The revised and polished CDR slides are the higher priority right now. Therefore the faculty has decided to waive the revision of the design document writing.

IF you have ALREADY done revision based on my comments, please send it to me and I'll substitute your revised version for your original version in the archive.

If you have not revised, that is ok. We still have your documentation of your work that we will save for next spring.

The most important thing is a polished CDR deck for DARPA.

The due date for the revised CDR deck is 11:59 on December 11. You may upload to Stellar link and send directly to faculty.

If you have questions, please come see us. My notes on the CDR are posted under materials.
