Project 8

Dear all,
To follow up on todays question, Project 8 is a neutrino mass measurement experiment. The idea is to measure the coherent cyclotron radiation from electrons in tritium decays. More details in this paper

Infrastructure problems today - class postponed

Dear all,
Here is an update from the Kolker room. The class of today is postponed. We will continue the discussion on neutrinos on Wednesday. Monday Dec. 3rd will be devoted to Dark Matter searches and your presentations are scheduled for Dec. 5th and 10th.

Classes next week

Dear all,
For the classes next week we will use the Kolker room at MIT and the CMS center at CERN. Time difference between MIT and CERN will be 6h again starting tonight. I will be at CERN till Friday and back at MIT for the rest of the semester.
