In-class working session tomorrow

UPDATE: Hi everyone! There was a typo in the email below. Your papers are due Tuesday, December 12. The original note said Monday which is incorrect. Please feel free to reach out if you have questions as you finish up your papers. I can make myself available to chat Saturday or Sunday. Hi class!

Just a reminder that tomorrow's lecture will be replaced with an in-class working session for assignment 2 (due Tuesday, December 10 at 9:30 a.m.). You can use the time to write, research or troubleshoot ideas with classmates. During this time, Ulises and I will also check in with each of you to discuss your progress and where you're headed with your paper.

Please be prepared to discuss in 5-10 minutes:
-Where your site is located, the general nature of your plan and who it was/is meant to serve
-The design and development model that most influenced your plan (intelligent city, new urbanism, the experience city, etc.)
-Your criteria for evaluating the plan
-Any other questions or concerns you may have

Once you've met with us you can also feel free to head to the library or Cron if it is useful to you.

Tuesday's Class - Call for Presentation Volunteers

Hi everyone,

We're looking for volunteers to do short presentations on their projects during class on Tuesday. Presentations should be 10 minutes or so and would ideally include a few slides with images or graphics from your papers. Please email Karen (KLJ@mit.edu) if you're interested and we'll add you to the roster.

If you have questions as you wrap up assignment one (which is DUE TUESDAY at the start of class), please do not hesitate to email the teaching team. This is a great opportunity to share your findings and to learn from one another!
