Exam Grade and Course Evaluation

Dear students,

To clarify, the grade on your final exam corresponds to your final grade.

The copies of the exam and the problem sets that have not been taken by students are held by Alex' assistant, Cherisse Haakonsen. Her desk is in E52-405.

Also, please take a moment to fill the half-semester course evaluation. Your feedback is much appreciated. Here is the link:

Exam

Dear students,

This is a reminder that the exam will take place tomorrow, in class. The exam will start at 1:00 pm sharp, so please make sure to be in the room at least 5 min in advance.

I updated the solutions to Question 4 of problem set 5.

I will bring tomorrow all the copies of the problem sets that haven't been taken yet.

Problem Sets and Office Hours

Dear students,

Due to a last minute issue, I could not hold office hours nor come to the lecture with the problem sets. My apologies about this!

I will hold other extra office hours tomorrow from 9:00 am to 10:30 am.

I will bring the problem sets on Wednesday. Please e-mail me in the meanwhile if you would like to get your copies earlier.

Solutions to Problem Set 5 Updated

Dear students,

I slightly updated the solutions to problem sets 5 and 6. Please
dismiss the previous versions and check these ones.

Also, I will bring the graded copies of problem set 5 tomorrow
in class, as well as those for the previous problem sets that haven
been already taken.

I posted the solutions to Questions 1-4 of problem set 5 on Friday. I also posted the solutions to Question 1.a of problem set 6.
