Quiz 3

The last quiz (80 minutes) will take place on Tuesday, Dec. 13, in our regular classroom.

- The quiz will *not* cover interior point algorithms

- It will focus on materials from Chs. 10 and 11, that we have covered, as represented in the last few lectures (except for the last one) and the last two problem sets (integer programming formulations, general methods, Langrangean relaxation, dynamic programming).

- It may also include a few simple questions to check your basic general understanding of earlier class materials

The exam will be closed-book. You can bring with you *two* 2-sided sheets of notes.

We are not posting any old exams, because all past exams we have found had a different focus, with comprehensive testing of the whole semester's materials.

Problem Set #10

Problem set #10 is out. It contains three problems for you to practice. You are not required to turn in your solutions and we will not grade them. Solutions will be made available by Thursday. However, for better understanding, we suggest you to try them independently.

Office hour tomorrow
