Attendance policy update
Hi everyone,As a reminder, according to the class policies that are detailed
in the syllabus, attendance in all classes is required to get a
Pass grade. Since we got a couple of students requests to miss a
class for various of reasons, we decided on a new policy.
In case that you missed more than one class, you can make up for it
by watching the class recording and submit a summary of 300 words
of the discussion.
Students who are interested in this option are welcome to reach out
to me to get the class recording.

Office hours
Hi folks – I will be holding office hours this semester from 1-2pm on Thursdays, in E62-316. If you want to meet, please contact Patty Curley (pcurley@mit.edu) no later than noon of the day before, and Patty will get you on the schedule. If you can’t make it to the usual office hours, contact me directly and we will set something up.
I won’t be available on the following Thursdays: 9/29, 10/20, 10/27 (SIP week) and 11/17.
