There will be no recitation section on October 5 and no TA
office hours on October 7. TA office hours will be moved to
be an extended (2 hour) office hour on Monday October 3, 1-3 PM in

Make-up Lecture Schedule
The first makeup lecture will be a videotaped lecture to be
distributed on Stellar this Friday, 9/23. Students are invited to
attend the recording live, 11 AM-12:30 PM in our usual classroom.
But it is a student holiday so attendance is not required (this is
a taping and not a class period).
The second makeup lecture will be held next Wednesday, 9/28, at the usual time and location of the 3.20 lecture (room 37-212, from 9:30-11 AM).

TA Office Hours and First Homework Posted
The first homework set, due September 19 at noon, has been
posted.
Also, office hours for Jessica will begin this Friday (Sept. 16) from 1-2 PM in 13-4101. In following weeks, Jessica's office hours will be from 3-4 PM in 13-4101 on Fridays.
