This course covers fundamental and advanced domains in computer vision, covering topics from early vision to mid- and high-level vision, including basics of machine learning and convolutional neural networks for vision.

Project Presentation Signups

Hi 6.869 students,

It's almost time to start presenting your projects! You can sign up for a slot here.

For those who don't wish to click the link [yet], you will have the opportunity to give a (no greater than!) five minute presentation and receive feedback from the staff on the following days:
  • Wednesday 30 November from 5:30-7:30 pm
  • Thursday 1 December from 1:00-3:00 pm
  • Monday 5 December from 5:30-7:30 pm
  • Wednesday 7 December from 2:00-4:00 pm

All presentations will be held in 32-D507. There will be a projector, so you don't have to pack your own. Here's a template slide deck for your convenience; you can also make your own in Beamer for your extreme inconvenience.

Of course, it is expected that those who sign up for earlier slots will have less material and should be evaluated accordingly.

Finally, if your team is unable to make any of the presentation times, please let us know so that we can make alternative arrangements.

Extension on pset 6

Given the length of this pset, combined with the upcoming project proposal deadline, we're extending the due date of pset 6 by one week to Thursday, 3 November.

Also, if you can manage to figure out how to use it, you're welcome to use matchFeatures function instead of manually matching keypoints. We'll cover image features in lecture on Tuesday.

As a reminder, the materials are available for pickup at Adrià's office (32-D475B).
