Final grades

Hi everyone,

We have finished grading the third exam, and your final course grades should be available online within the next few days (student.mit.edu). The average for exam 3 was 82 and the SD was 9. Nice job!

If you are interested in picking up your exam 3 blue books, I will have them in my lab (68-430). I'll be around through next week and during IAP, but just shoot me an email (sboor@mit.edu) before coming by so I can be sure that I'm in lab when you want to stop by.

From all of us, it has been a pleasure to work with you all this semester, and we hope we have been able to help convey what a powerful tool genetic analysis can be.

Please don't be shy about reaching out during IAP and next semester to talk about rotations, spring classes, and choosing a lab. Having just been through the process last year we would be happy to provide some insight!

Have a great break, and congrats on finishing your first semester of grad school! :)

Answer Keys for Pset6 and LOD score practice are now posted

Check out materials for Answer Keys to Problem Set 6 and the LOD score worksheet from yesterday's office hours. As always, if you have any questions, please come see us for our LAST TWO office hours - Friday (12/9) before and after recitation and Monday (12/12) from 3:30-4:30pm, room TBD.

Today's Office Hours - LOD score practice

We have posted a practice problem that we will be using in today's office hours to review calculating LOD scores. No need to complete the problem ahead of time, but please bring a copy (paper or electronic) if you plan on attending our LOD score practice session. We will also be hosting regular office hours for those that have other questions.
