CMS.300/CMS.841  Intro to Videogame Theory

Final Presentations Schedule

Instructions: Each student will have exactly 7 minutes to present their analysis. There is no time for setting up computers for showing slides. The content presented is basically the same as for the written analysis, but due to time constraints, the oral presentation has to focus on the most important and interesting parts. The oral presentation is also an opportunity for feedback which can help sharpen the arguments and findings for the final written version of the analysis. I strongly urge everyone to attend all the sessions. You can learn both from each other's presentations and feedback. Please note that all sessions take place in 26-168.

Reminders

I am about to generate a presentation schedule for Assignment 3. Presentations begin next week. If you still haven't reported which game you are playing, you have to do so by tomorrow to be included. Also remember to read Kishonna Gray's paper in preparation for tomorrow's guest lecture. Finally, make sure your makeup assignments are uploaded. A late submission is better than a missing submission.

Class Canceled, Tue Nov 8

Dear students, I have what I'm fairly certain is food poisoning and will not be able to make the lecture today. So it is canceled. I'm certain I'll be back on my feet by Thursday so please prepare two keywords per paper and I'll see you Thursday.

Assignment 2 Posted

Dear students, I have posted the second assignment. You may pick a game and begin working on the assignment right away. Allowing for some calendar time for reflection helps with the analysis. Report you game selection in class Thursday Oct 13 or via email by the same date at the latest, if you can't make class that day.
