Final rules clarification, reminder of submission process
Hello 15.900A and 15.900B,
Here are the rules for the exam Monday, May 19th:
1. The exam is open book. You can bring your book, lecture notes, case, and whatever other materials you have prepared, either in paper form or on your laptop. You cannot reference anything on the internet outside of the class website on Stellar. You can feel free to prepare as much analysis of the case ahead of time as possible, but please keep in mind that if you use any pre-assembled analyses that they must answer the question being asked!
2. You can elect to either type the exam on your laptop and electronically submit your answers, or fill out a blue book. If you elect to use a blue book, please make sure your handwriting is neat and legible. If we cannot read what you wrote, we cannot give you points.
3. No communication outside of the class will be allowed. If you use your laptop, disable all instant messenger and e-mail applications prior to the test. Please only load your e-mail client if you need to submit your assignment via gmail if you are having trouble with Stellar.
4. The exam will begin at 9:05am and end promptly at 11:55am.
Submission rules for those of you who use a computer:
1. Folders on Stellar named "Final Submission-SECTION A" and "Final Submission-SECTION B" to which Section A and Section B students are required to submit their exams in DOC (not DOCX) format. The window for submission closes at 12:00pm for both sections. Any exam submitted late by that time will be penalized.
2. If students are unable to access Stellar for any reason, I have created an email account to which students may email their exam: 15.900a@gmail.com for Section A, and 15.900b@gmail.com for Section B.
3. If wireless fails for some reason, students will transfer their exams onto a pen-drive and hand it to instructor. Please bring your own USB thumbnail drive and be ready to turn it in to the TA. Each TA will have only one extra thumbnail drive if students are unable to bring theirs.
4. All exams submissions must use the following file naming convention: "15.900x_final_firstname_lastname" e.g. "15.900A_final_Jon_Krafcik" or "15.900B_final_Yaniv_Fain"
5. Each student must submit only 1 word document. Any and all tables/figures/calcs must be pasted into that document.
If you have any questions about the material, feel free to bring them to the review session tomorrow -- E51-335, 12-1pm + an extra hour for Q&A if necessary.

No more memos!
All,
There are no more memos to turn in for the remainder of the semester, so no memo necessary for Honda. Thanks for all of your hard work on these throughout the semester.
Best,
Jon and Yaniv
