Term Project Report (P5) and Term Project Response (A4)

Dear All,

The last two days of class are here. Just to remind you, we have the term project response (A4) due by 4pm tomorrow and the final term project report (P5) due by midnight tomorrow. You should consult the term project description as well as the old term project reports uploaded on stellar to get an idea of what we're looking for. Also, please remember to bring your laptops to class so that you can fill out the online course evaluation.

Project presentations for each group due noon of the day of presentation

Dear All,

There seems to be some confusion about when the project presentations are due. Rather than 6pm today as written in the syllabus, all project presentations are due by noon on the day of your presentation. The presentations tomorrow are, in that order, Ivanpah Solar Project, Second Avenue Subway and Bering Strait. Only these presentations are due by tomorrow noon.

To help give you an idea of the kind of presentation and report we expect from you, a project report and presentation submitted for this course in a previous year has been uploaded under the "Project" header.

Mid-term quiz on 17 March

Hi all,

Hope you're all well prepared for tomorrow's mid-term. As we said in class, this is an open-book, open-notes quiz, so make sure to bring copies of the textbook along. You are allowed the use of interest tables and a calculator, but no other electronic resources are allowed (except a watch to tell time).
