Final Exam TUESDAY 9am-noon in E51-145
Hi everyone,
There are two rooms listed for the 14.32 final. Everyone should report to E51-145 on Tuesday morning - you'll all take the exam in the same room. Also, I've posted the 2010 final on the course website for study purposes.
Best,
Simone

Midterm Summary Stats
Hi all,
Some of you have asked for summary stats on the midterm or estimates for your grade in the course. I cannot provide the latter, since lots goes into that, but I can give you some summary statistics on midterm scores so you can get a sense of where you are in the distribution. So, here they are:
Mean: 79.6
Percentiles
10th: 65
25th: 75
50th: 83
75th: 87
90th: 91

Late Problem Sets/Extensions
Hi everyone,
There were a number of extension requests/late problem sets last week. As such, I would like to clarify the class policy on late work:
If you submit a problem set late, you will be docked 25 percentage points for each day late. If you submit part of the problem set on time and part of the problem set late, this means the whole problem set is late. Late work should be submitted to me via email so I know when it was submitted.
Best,
Simone

Changes to Office Hours/Recitation: Weeks of 2/14 and 2/21
Hi everyone,
Due to travel obligations, I have to reschedule office hours this week and next week. Instead of the usual time, office hours will be:
Thursday 2/17 from 3:15-4:45pm
Tuesday 2/22 from 5:30-7pm
I also have to cancel recitation Friday 2/25 - if there is demand, we can schedule a make up time, or I can hold additional office hours (perhaps before the midterm, if that is most attractive to people).
