Quiz 2 and review session

Quiz 2 will be held on Wednesday, May 4th in the lecture hall. Calculators are allowed as well as one sheet (double sided) of handwritten notes.

A review session will be held on Monday, May 2nd in 35-225 from 7:30-9:00pm.

Homework 8 and Safety Announcement

Homework 8 is now posted on the website. It is due at lecture on Wednesday, April 20th.

I'm sure many of you have already heard about the accident at Yale University. On April 14th, a student was killed when her hair was pulled into a lathe. Always keep in mind the importance of following the safety guidelines in the machine shop. An article on this accident is posted in the readings section.
