Formula Sheet Posted and Advice on Studying
Hi All,In response to several requests, I've posted the Final Formula Sheet on the Stellar page.
One last reminder: The final will focus on conceptual questions on quantum mechanics, covering the entire semester. It will not be focused on the last couple of weeks. Make absolutely sure you know how to solve the problems on the first two exams. Practice exams 1&2 should be very helpful -- I strongly encourage you to review them, too.
Best wishes on your studying!
See you tomorrow,
Allan

Studying for the Final
Hi All,The formula sheet for the final will be very similar to that used in exam 2. Importantly, the final will cover the entire semester, not just the topics since exam 2. If you can solve the problems on exams 1 and 2 and the problem sets, you will do very well on the final.
Best,
Allan
ps -- solutions to pset 11 are posted.

Final Lecture Notes Posted, Feedback Requested
Dear 8.04,Two quick notes.
First, the final set of lecture notes are posted. Phew!
Second, please take a moment to post your feedback on 8.04 via the anonymous end-of-term evaluations. I, and the Department, take these very seriously, and I find them extremely helpful in figuring out what works and what to improve.
Finally, it's been a lot of fun lecturing 8.04 for you, thanks for all the excellent questions and enthusiasm!
See you at the final,
Allan

PSet 11 Updated: Several Typos Caught
Hi All,I've just re-posted PSet 11 -- there were several annoying typos, my apologies! Hopefully they're all corrected. Thanks to those of you who pointed out the typos.
See you tomorrow in the last lecture,
Allan

Professor Hughes office hours moved from Monday May 9 to FRIDAY May 13
In order to give people a chance to test drive pset 11 and to think about issues of concern leading into the final next Monday, I am moving my office hours from the usual time on Monday to the usual time on Friday of this week.
See you then,
Scott
