Final Research Paper Graded
Happy New Year! (Is it surprising to hear from us after the class ended quite a while ago? :)
The professors and I have graded and commented on your final research papers. I will email each of you the comments, your score of the paper, and your overall grade for this class.
The grading was done before Christmas, but due to personal reasons (traveling etc), I am only able to send out emails now. I apologize and hope you all understand.
Do contact us if you have any questions and concerns.
Both professors and I wish you a very sucessful year!

Final Paper and Course Evaluation
This is a gentle reminder that the deadline for submitting your final research paper is 9AM Monday December 13. Please email your paper to all three of us (krp@mit.edu, rapiwat@mit.edu, yuanxiao@mit.edu).
If you haven't done so, please complete the course evalution. For students formally registered, you should have it in your inbox already (if not, let me know). For students not taking the class for credit, we have set up a SurveyMonkey version of the evaluation. It has the same questions from the formal one, and is anonymous. Use the following link to access the survey: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/MXN63HN Your feedback would be critical in improving this class.
The deadline for completing the course evaluation is also 9AM Monday December 13. But please do it NOW. Otherwise, the system is likely to be very busy Monday morning and you may have trouble logging in.
When sending your paper, please indicate that you have also completed the course evalution in the same email.
We look forward to reading your papers, and thank you all very much for a great semester.

Term Paper Presentation Guidelines
Since some of you did not read my email yesterday on this, I am resending it. Please read the guidelines carefully in preparation for your presentation. Let us know if you have any questions. Yuan
Term-Paper Presentation Guidelines - 10 minutes for your presentation and 5 minutes for questions and answers.
 - You can use both texts and visuals in your slides (unlike the Pecha-Kucha format), but please limit the total number of slides to 15, in addition to your title page.
 - Clearly state in your presentation your research question(s), your data (qualitative and/or quantitative), method (case study, comparative study, econometrics, etc), and your main arguments.
 - Send us your draft slides by noon the day before your assigned presentation day, so we could provide some comments and feedback if necessary. Send your finalized presentation the night before, and also bring a copy on your own USB drive just in case.
