Good Morning Everyone,

Today is our field trip to Analog Devices in Wilmington, MA. Let's meet at my office, room 36-287 promptly at 2:30pm. I will be driving the RLE van and Jurgen will be driving his car. Once we all arrive, we can pile into the cars and head out. If for some reason you can no longer go on our field trip, please contact me so that we don't wait for you.

btw: I think we will be back by 5-5:50pm this afternoon.

Today we will have our advanced topic lecture about intellectual property and patents. Our guests have asked that we really have a discussion rather than a lecture. They are most interested in answering any/all questions that you have about this very important and complex topic. Therefore, take some time today to come up with some questions to get the discussion going. After the discussion about patents, Harlan will give a short lecture about preparing technical presentations to help you with the final lab report on microfluidics. This lecture will begin around 3:30pm.
