Final Exam

Hi everyone,

I've received a lot of questions about the final exam content.  The exam counts for 30% of your final grade.  The exam is cumulative, but we will ask you more questions about the topics since exam 2 (and those topics already depend on the material you already learned anyway!)  You are responsible for Chapters 2,3,4,5,6,7 (but not the appendix of 7), 9, 10, 11 (not vestibular system), 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, (ch 17 wasn't covered but I talked about some of the material on pp. 544-545), 18, 19 (only the parts that overlapped with Dr. Hobson's lecture, so not circadian rhythms), 22, 23, 24, 25.  You are also responsible for anything said in lecture.

If something is in the book and was said in lecture, it's very important that you know it.  Info that was just in lecture is more important than info that was just in the book.  While we can ask you anything we want from the list of chapters above, we are highly unlikely to ask you anything very detailed from the book that was not covered in lecture.

I hope that helps.  Please let me know if you have any additional questions.  Remember there is a review session with TAs tomorrow (Friday) from 4 - 6pm in 46-1015 BYOQ (bring your own questions!).

And remember to complete the subject evaluation http://web.mit.edu/subjectevaluation/

Good luck studying!!
