I am very sorry that I could be with you today. I had agreed to speak at something based on the idea that today will be the end term exam but MIT rules, as you recall, got in the way. I could not then shift the talk since there is a lot of much more important people than me involved.

I regret this because I really enjoyed the semester--your presentations often came up with refreshing new angles and there was both passion and insight in your comments.

REMINDER LAST CLASS TOMORROW 1PM

Dear Students,

Congratulations on submitting your final exams on time!

Just a quick reminder - we have one more class tomorrow that I think will be a lot of fun. We will be discussing the various themes that have come up throughout the semester and reflecting on the possible "take-home" messages you could gather from this course.

And if this isn't a strong enough incentive to come to class - don't forget that your grades have still not been finalized, and 15% of your grade depends on class participation.

Also, if you haven't already done so please complete a course evaluation: http://web.mit.edu/subject. It is really helpful to know what parts of the course you think have gone really well, and what parts you think we could improve on.

You must submit your responses as a .pdf or .ppt file for the presentation and a word .doc for the questions by 2.30pm through the stellar website - NOT BY EMAIL!

PLEASE INCLUDE YOUR FULL NAME ON THE FIRST PAGE/SLIDE OF EACH DOCUMENT.

(I'll be in the regular classroom between 1-2.30pm today in case you wish to write the conceptual questions by hand.)
