A note on submitting (emprical) problem sets

Hi all,
When you submit your empirical problem sets, please make sure that you put the key results (coefficients, tables etc) in the TEXT of your solution and not refer me to the log-file or do file.

You need to submit the do-files that you used to create those results, but you do not need to submit the log-file.

Problem Set 2 posted

Hi all,

Problem set 2 is now online. It is due before class on Sept 15. You should bring printed copies of your codes and your solutions to class on Sep 15.

It is an empirical problem set and involves some replication. So, if you have not had much experience with stata, you might want to start it early.

You are allowed to work in groups of two for the stata exercises. You should hand in codes individually (though they are the same code) and mention who you worked with.
