Unified Engineering - Lab 5 graded !
Lab 5 in Unified Engineering has now been graded. These are the lab reports where you summarized your design process, predictions and actual results at the UEFC. Check on stellar where you submitted your reports and self-reflections for comments and grades. These grades correspond to the grade entered in the Gradebook as well.Overall most teams did very well and in the self-reflections great suggestions were made for future improvements. Lab 4 grades to follow shortly.
Good luck for finals !

Unified Engineering - Google Hangout with the Solar Impulse Team - tomorrow in class 10AM
Dear Unified Students:As announced earlier we will have a live Google Hangout with the Solar Impulse Team in Switzerland tomorrow Wednesday May 14 at 10AM in class (S/L-14). Solar Impulse will attempt to fly around the world in a solar airplane and its first attempt at this world record will start in March 2015. You remember that this year's UEFC was inspired by this project.
We will go live at 10AM sharp right after M21. Please do not leave the room at 10AM. Participation in 32-141 is mandatory.
Andrew Owens our TA will lead the session on our end. If you want to dial in at the same time or register, the link is as follows:
https://plus.google.com/events/cimr7dg19000i2pkcmf7k170954
The Agenda is:
5-10 min Solar Impulse Presentation and walk-around the plane. André Borschberg, Pilot and CEO
5-10 min MIT Response, short presentation by Andrew Owens
ca. 30 min Open Q&A via Google Hangout. Please take a look at the projects website and come prepared with at least one question you have. Relaying experiences from the UEFC (good or bad) is also OK. There will be time for about 10 questions. If you want to ask a question please come to the front of the room.
Have fun !
