Project voting

Hi everyone,

The voting forms are now available (see the link below for your section). Please cast your vote by noon on Sunday, May 8.

A few things to keep in mind:

1. Please rate the top 10 projects for your section that you would like to see presented in class. You can vote for your own if you want.

2. Also, please don't forget to enter your name in the form so that we can give you participation credit.

3. If you do not read the abstract, please do not cast a vote.

4. All abstracts can be viewed on Stellar - just go to the assignment where you submitted your abstract, and you should be able to see all of them.

Abstracts and Slides for Project

Hi all,

As a reminder, 1-page project abstracts are due tonight at midnight (11:59:59 p.m.). Please submit them through the homework section on the Stellar site. It is very important that these be turned in on time because your classmates and the course team will be viewing these submissions in the coming days and voting to determine who will present next week.

Slides for your presentation are also due at midnight tonight, to be uploaded as a separate file on the same Stellar assignment. Several of you have asked if you would be able to update the slides between tonight and the presentations on Monday and Wednesday. This is allowed through Sunday, May 8 at 12 noon, at which point the TAs will be grabbing the version of slides in the Stellar system to make the presentation files for Monday and Wednesday. Changes to the slides made after Sunday at noon won't be integrated into the Monday and Wednesday slides.

Please note that the abstract and slides you have uploaded into the Stellar system will be visible to your fellow students and the course team for voting purposes, so please make sure the uploaded version of these files does not contain confidential information.

Best,
John

Project deliverables - submissions open on Stellar

Hi all,

I've just created two "assignments" on Stellar for the project. There is one for the presentation & abstract (please submit as two separate files), and one for the report.

You do not need to bring printed copies of the presentation or abstract to class. For the report, please bring a printed copy on Wednesday May 11th, as well as submitting to Stellar.

Let us know if you have any troubles with submission.

Thanks,
TA Team
