Typo in Queueing formula

Hello Everybody,

Just wanted to correct a typo that was brought to my notice today. In the lecture "Queuing Models: more advanced models" (lecture 13-14), on Page 5 which discusses M/M/c queues. The formula for P(n) for the case n>=c (case 2) should have c! in the denominator instead of n!.

Also, I would like to once again remind those who have not yet filled the subject evaluations to do so at the earliest. The deadline is December 17.

Multiple important things!

Hello Class,

I would like to remind everyone that we have our final recitation for the semester tomorrow evening at 5PM in 1-242. We will be solving some questions from past quizzes. I would also really like to emphasize the need to practice problems, from past quizzes or other sources. I have uploaded some past quizzes to the Stellar, as well as the solutions to Quiz 1.

The last homework is due IN CLASS on Thursday. I will post its solution online on Thursday itself and will return them to you by Monday. I am also trying to get your fifth homework back to you by Thursday morning. The solutions to the fifth homework will also be up shortly.

And finally, I request each and every one of you to fill up the course evaluation without fail at http://web.mit.edu/subjectevaluation. Needless to say, this is really important.

Bring your laptop to recitation

It will be helpful to have your laptop with you for recitation today because I have been unable to get printouts of the material. I have uploaded the recitation notes on Stellar. Look for "Recitation 9 Congestion Pricing" and download it.
