Information:
Problem-motivated introduction to methods, models and tools for the analysis and design of transportation networks including their planning, operations and control. Topics include: capacity of critical elements of transportation networks; traffic flows and deterministic and probabilistic delay models; formulation of optimization models for planning and scheduling of freight, transit and airline systems, and their solution using software packages; user- and system-optimal traffic assignment; control of traffic flows on highways, urban grids, and airspace; stochastic simulation modeling of traffic flows.

PS6 grades, updated solution, and MATLAB code posted
Dear 1.200ers,The grades for Problem Set 6 are now up on Stellar. The solution has been updated and re-uploaded. I also posted my MATLAB implementation for this problem. Feel free to play around with it and let me know how it goes.
Lastly, I wanted to encourage you to fill out the class
evaluations if you haven't done so. Your feedback is very
important for us, so I would appreciate if you could take a few
minutes to fill it out. The evaluations are open until this Monday,
December 14th and can be filled out at the link:

Dear 1.200ers,The slides and notes with solutions from today's recitation have been posted on Stellar. The written part of the solution for Problem Set 6 were uploaded as well. The MATLAB code will be available later.

Final Recitation Today 4-5pm at 2-105
Dear all,As mentioned before, I will hold a Final Recitation session today from 4-5pm at 2-105, our usual location. This is completely optional, but you may find it useful for your preparation for the Quiz. I will go over a few problems from Units 3-5. I won't be able to hold an office hour after the session, but I'm always available via emails if you have any questions/concerns!
