Recitation Today at 2pm in Freeman (E18-202)

Dear students,

So far the two requested things for review are 1) summarize the concepts into some structure 2) solve an problem set question to illustrate the math. So I will do these at today's recitation. I will also try to give some tips on preparing for the exam. If anything else comes to your mind, please let me know (hopefully before noon). See you soon!

Clarifications and Readings

Dear students,

Despite what I guessed earlier, the final exam will cover the whole semester instead of the second half. Also, if you are using the Midterm Solution I posted today to prepare for the final, please note it shouldn't be considered the perfect/comprehensive answers. While I wrote the answers with lots of hints from Frank and Abhijit, with access to course materials and no time limit, it is only intended as a reference so other answers could be possible or even better. Also I guess the answers to short questions are quite long because I can type them, you don't have to write as long.

For readings for today's topic, "Salience," we have now moved the star to the Bordalo et al (2013), so if you haven't read any and want to choose one to read, this is the one to go. But if you have already read Bordalo et al (2012), you don't have to read Bordalo et al (2013) as they share the same basic concepts.

We have also added a few new papers to the topic for next Monday, "Gender and Identity," with one of them stared. Please try to read the stared reading as Frank will cover it.
