Paper 2: Prof. Entekhabi's grades + Assignment Due Dates

hi everyone,

Your papers on agroecosystem sustainability have also been corrected by Professor Entekhabi. These were handed out in class yesterday; papers that weren't picked up are outside 48-305.

The grades given by Prof. Entekhabi are posted on Stellar. Go to Paper Assignment 2, under Homework, and click on Comments.

The Assignment due dates for the rest of the semester are:

5/6: optional pset is due
5/8: optional re-write of paper 2 (agriculture) is due
5/8 (Mon) and 5/11(Thur): play wedge game in studio
5/12: memo to Thai Ministry of Energy is due
5/15 (Mon) and 5/18 (Thur): wedge game presentations in studio

*Comments for Paper #2 have been submitted under "Paper Assignment 2," which is on the "Homework" page.

* REVISIONS for Paper #2 are Optional. The due date is May 8. Revisions can be e-mailed to me.

* I suggest that everyone read the article "The Science of Scientific Writing" by George Gopen and Judith Swan. A fantastic piece with useful advice for all writers, it is particularly recommended for those with sentence level wrting concerns. Judith Swan is an MIT Phd alum. http://www.amstat.org/publications/jcgs/sci.pdf

Memo to the Thai Ministry of Energy (readings)

hi everyone,

The assignment to write a memo to the Thai Ministry of Energy is now posted on Stellar under Homework. There are 4 suggested readings for this assignment. One of them is from a book (Baumann and Tillman, The Hitch Hiker's Guide to LCA). The scanned pages are posted on Stellar, under Materials. The remaining 3 references can easily be located online (you can use scholar.google.com).
