Papers/Grades/Evaluations

Hello 1.020,

Nice job on the presentations, given the limited time.

Three things to do at my mailbox (48-216h, by the room I held office hours on the 2nd floor, Box 48-114):

1a)If you have 2 printed copies of your final papers, please place them both in my mailbox.

b) If you only have one printed copy, please leave that in my mailbox, and send one copy to breindel@mit.edu

2)Pick up your graded exams and quizzes, if you haven't done so already, found in another envelope labeled thusly.

3) We are very interested in your comments, so if you haven't done so already, please pick up, from my mailbox, a set of course evaluation sheets (2 total) , fill them up at your leisure and hand it directly to room 1-281 (CEE office)

During the summer if you wish to have your graded papers back you can revisit this mailroom, I should have them in a box there in a few weeks.

Thanks, have a good summer.

1.020 Presentations 12, 14th May 9-11am

Hello 1.020,

This is an email concerning the final presentations for 1.020.  To reiterate, we decided in class that instead of holding sessions on Friday, Monday and Wednesday, we will be having only 2 presentation sessions: Monday May 12 th 9-11am and Wednesday May 14th 9-11 am.  I have assigned the teams in a random order and have listed them below:

MONDAY MAY 12th

900-920 Griffith/Jarrett/Perez

920-940 Khan/Mena/Sanchez

940-1000 Magnuson/O'Keefe/Parton

1000-1020 Hillin/Jiminez/Talsma

1020-1040 Barnowski/Fox/Tardieu

1040-1100 Edobor/Stein

WEDNESDAY MAY 14th

900-920 Gong/Tao/Welle

920-940 Burgess/Jarrell/Sprague

940-1000 Abraham/Marjanovic/Nagaraj

1000-1020 Brown/Pires/Policelli

1020-1040 Granger/Poteau/Thom

All of the presentations will be held in the regular classroom.  Remember as a courtesy to all of the groups presenting, do show up to all of the presentations (we will be taking attendance).  As for the powerpoint slides, we will be using Harlan's computer throughout, so please come to the class with a Flash drive containing your presesentation.  To increase the chances that your powerpoint file works on the day, please save it as an older version of powerpoint (e.g. Office 2003) and make sure that the presentation works in the older format.

Lastly, the final papers are due on the 14th by 500pm.  Please print out a copy and either bring it to Wednesday's class or leave it in Mailroom 48-216a -- in the box labeled "48-114".

Looking forward to hearing the presentations,

Aaron
