Announcements
One last thing
Sorry for the flood of announcements. Tomorrow, it looks like we will be quite constrained in terms of time, because there are a total of eight presenters. Therefore, please be prepared to stay from 4 until 7 pm and let us try to start at 4 sharp. Also, limit your presentation to 15 minutes (not 20 as I said before). That way, we will have some time for Q&A. Finally, if you can, please bring your presentation on a memory stick in pdf format, so we can minimize time spent switching computers between presentations. Looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow!David

Just a reminder that there is no class today.Announced on 05 May 2010 1:58 p.m. by David Alexander Cesarini
Presentations
Hi everyone,A couple of items about the 20-30 minute presentations:
1. As Drazen mentioned, the presentation will only be mandatory for graduate students. But if you are an undergraduate and still want to give a short presentation, we will try to accomodate that.
2. Joint presentations are allowed.
3. It is fine - in fact, it is encouraged - to give a presentation on the same topic that you plan to write your final paper on.
4. Please send me an e-mail (one per group is fine) with the topic of your presentation no later than Wednesday this week. I will try to organize things so that people with similar interests will present in the same class.
5. Please feel free to write to me if you want to meet to discuss the topic of your presentation or your paper.
