Missing Video Equipment
Hi, everyone,The following video equipment is missing and must be turned in
ASAP. Prof. Hoffman is submitting grades on Monday, and THE WHOLE
TEAM will receive an incomplete until the following equipment is
turned in. So, please try to drop this stuff off today or
tomorrow:
Team 1: Hard drive, tripod, camera cables
Team 3: Camera, hard drive, tripod
Team 4: Memory card
Team 5: Tripod (Libby may have this; we'll check with
her)
Team 8: Tripod #2, hard drive, tripod #8 (if you can't find it,
please e-mail me an explanation of how you lost it.)
Additionally, it would be super great to have:
Team 1: Camera manual
Team 4: Camera CD, tripod bag
If you think you already turned in an item on this list, please e-mail me.
The best way to turn turn these things in at Libby and Alex's equipment turn-in office hours, which are TBD. If you can't make those, please drop the equipment off to someone in 37-155, 37-155, or 37-146. Just find a person in one of these offices and tell them the equipment is for me. Then, please sure you e-mail me to let me know you dropped it off.
Thanks!

Citing music in your videos
Great job on today's videos. You all worked really hard on them, and it definitely paid off. I'll send comments to all teams later tonight. You can make changes based on these comments, but you don't have to. That'll make it better for an outside audience that will see these. But, we'll grade you based on what we already have. (If you have helium-talking scenes, you can cut those out and do a "for public consumption" version. We don't mind seeing it in class, but it's probably not something to promote outside of us.)
The one thing we would like you to do is to cite the music that you used in your credits. This is important if the Department puts the videos up online, which we'd like to do. We want to show everything the great things you've done! When you cite the music, please include the following information:
* Song name
* Author (real name or username)
* Website where you found the song
* URL
* License (e.g. CC-BY, CC-BY-NC)
Please do this for all the songs in your video, and let me know if you have any questions.
You don't have to re-upload the video to YouTube. Just put a new final version on the harddrive and return that to us on Thursday.
Please bring all outstanding video equipment to class on Thursday, or to Alex and Libby's equipment turn-in later this week. Thanks!
See you all in the last class on Thursday!!
Aaron
