Practice Final Posted

Dear Class,

We've posted an old final exam from 2012 for practice. Note that the subjects that we've focused on this year differ from previous years, so not all of the questions in the old final will be relevant. However, it should give you a sense of the type of problems on the exam.

The exam questions will be the same order of difficulty as previous homework sets and exams, so we recommend studying those problems, as well as the examples given in lecture and recitation for the best practice.

Also, if you have not had a chance to submit a course review, please do so, as the deadline is tomorrow. We greatly appreciate any feedback that can help improve the class.

Exam Review Session and Course Evaluations

Hi All,

Just a reminder that we'll be having an exam review session on Saturday, May 16th from 11am-12:30pm. It will be held in the Spofford room, 1-236.

Additionally, please take the time to fill our course evaluations at http://web.mit.edu/subjectevaluation/evaluate.html - it is extremely valuable for us as instructors to hear your feedback on the course and ways that it could be improved.

Practice Exam Solutions Posted

Hi Class,

The solutions for the practice exam have been posted. For additional practice, I recommend reviewing the examples posted in the lecture notes, and imagine how you would apply the concepts to modeling real systems.

PSet 5 soln and PSet 6

Dear class,

Solutions to PSet 5 are now online. PSet 6 is online too -- it is due on Wed. May 6th. As a reminder, we will have our second Test in class on Wednesday.
