Four important announcements

1) All of the grades through exam 3 have been posted. Please check the scores we have posted against your records. If there is a discrepancy, you must notify me by noon on Monday, 12/12. I will not accept requests concerning problem sets 1-6 or exams 1-3 after that time.

2) All problem sets and exams through exam 3 must be claimed from 68-120 by 4:00 tomorrow. I will be available to return these material today noon-3:45 and tomorrow 9:30-9:50, 11-3:45. In addition, you can email your TA and request that he or she bring your unclaimed material to recitation sections next Monday and Tuesday. Problem Set 7 will be returned in section on Monday and Tuesday. Due to the numbers of students and potential student traffic in 68-120 in advance of finals, we will not be returning materials outside of these times.

3) The comprehensive final exam will be administered on Monday 12/19 beginning at 9:00 AM at the Johnson Track. No books, papers, or electronic devices are allowed. You do not need a calculator. You must bring pens or pencils and a valid student ID. Please place your ID on the desk when you arrive and leave it out for the duration of the exam. The testing period is 3 hours, but most will finish well before the three hours. If you finish early, you may turn in your exam and leave quietly.

4) All lectures, recitation sections and office hours are as usual for Monday and Tuesday of next week. There are no recitation sections next week on Wednesday 12/14 or Thursday 12/15. Additional office hours will be offered Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, at a time and place to be announced later this week.
