Access to Study Code During Final

During the test, you are allowed to look at your own study code that you may have annotated with your own comments and changes. The comments and changes you may have made to the code should be related to the study code ONLY. During the exam, we recommend you download the zip file provided in the questions.

Also, a reminder that you should read the complete final exam instructions on MITx under the Practice Final link. These instructions will be the same as those on the actual final exam.

Important Final Exam Information

Please read the following announcement very closely.

FINAL EXAM:
---------------------
- LENGTH: 2 hours long
- WHEN: Monday December 15, 1:30pm to 3:30pm
- WHERE: 10-250
- FORMAT: all questions will be on MITx (multiple choice, short answer, coding)
- SPECIAL ACCOMMODATIONS: you will be contacted separately with where to go

Please read the practice final exam instructions we have posted on MITx. There are some changes from the quiz. Most notably, for the coding questions, ANY code you submit will be marked as correct but this does not mean you will get full points. You have up to 10 submission attempts for the coding questions.

STUDY CODE:
---------------------
- Posted under Materials -> Final Exam section.
- A non-trivial part of the final exam will have questions related to this study code. You should study the code to prepare for the exam. Trying to understand the code during the exam would not be a good idea. We suggest that you read it, run it, and try and modify it in simple ways.

EXAM TOPICS:
---------------------
- Posted under Materials -> Final Exam section.

REVIEW SESSION:
---------------------
- Thursday Dec 11, 7:30pm - 9pm in 32-123

- We posted practice final exams from previous final exams in .zip form under Materials -> Final Exam section.

WARNING:
---------------------
- Graders for MITx will be unavailable starting from 12 hours before the final exam on Monday Dec 15 until after the exam (similarly, 12 hours before the conflict exam).
- During this time, the graders will mark all Python code submitted as "Correct".
- If you are planning to practice coding and check your answers for any of the optional finger exercises, please do so before this time.
