Grades
Dear Class -Trust all of you are enjoying some quiet time (at least from 6.438). We understand that Quiz 2 was tougher than Quiz 1 and has made some of you anxious. Rest assured, we understand this, we are sympathetic to this aspect and we have taken this into account in deciding your final grades.
In particular, we have submitted your final letter grades with this consideration to registrar's office. We believe they should become available to you soon, if not already.
We wish you all the best in your future endeavors.
Best regards and Stay safe.

Final Lecture: Starting in 30mins
Class -We have come a long way in this virtual form of teaching. It's time for the last lecture now. The lecture topic is "sampling". I hope to see you all there for this one last time before we break for IAP.
In case we do not see you today, on behalf of entire teaching staff, I would like to wish you all the best for all your future endeavors and we sincerely hope that 6.438 would have made some difference in your life. I do hope our paths cross again in the future.

Announcements regarding Quiz 2
Hi all,As announced on piazza, the quiz will consist of 4 problems (each problem consists of some sub-problems), and they are worth 20, 10, 15, 25 points respectively. The points sum up to 70, but the maximum score that you can get is 60 points. If you get x points, then the score that contributes to your final grades is min{x,60}. For example, if you get 45 points your score is 45. If you receive 65 points then your score will be 60.
Also, we will let you download and print the answer booklet 10 minutes before the quiz starts (to make it fair to everybody). We will release the quiz problems dot on time. Please make sure you join at least 15 minutes before the scheduled start time.
Lastly, we have posted quiz 2 problems and solutions from 2015-2019 in case you need more problem solving practice.
All the best!
