Schedule this week

Hello all,

Just a reminder that Chad and Mareena will present their work on developing an X-ray fluorescence lab for 22.09/90 from 1:00 to 1:30 PM today in the NW12 conference room near the classroom. All are invited and encouraged to attend this presentation. All other presentattions will be made to the instructors only. The schedule so far is:

M 2:30 Katia, Martin, Alex W 12:00-12:30 Ethan, Curran 12:30-1:00 Sarah, Matt 1:00-1:30 Ciara, Judy, Michael 2:00-2:30 Ben, Chad 2:30-3:00 Manuel

Please be in the NW12 classroom  a few minutes before your scheduled time. We will call you into the conference room when it's time for you to present.

Oral Presentation Signup

All,

I have set up a Doodle poll for you to sign up for oral presentations next Monday and Wednesday. The poll is here: http://www.doodle.com/94a4fes4ey5mbw8w 

There are three slots on Monday starting from 1:30 PM and six slots on Wednesday starting at 12:00 PM. Chad and Mareena will present on Monday on development of an X-ray flourescence lab for future editions of 22.09/90 and all students are encourage to attend.  Because other presentations will be duplicated among the remaining groups, all other presentations will be made to the instructors only.

Let me know if you any problems with signing up for a presentation slot.

Resources for writing tech report on Beta Lab

On the Stellar site, under Materials/Communications Resources, you will find a few items that may help as you draft your technical report on the Beta Lab due M 2/27 @ noon. They are:

  • Tech Report guidelines
  • Tech Report lecture slides (from M 2/13 communications lecture)
  • Tech Report sample, with annotations
  • Style Guide for Course 22 (note: you may cite your references using either this style or AIP Style)
