LIGO Lab Tour
As mentioned in class yesterday one of the areas that interests me is control in basic science experimentation. One of the efforts that I am involved in is the LIGO laboratory at MIT and can show interested students the tools used and some unique controls problems. For more information on LIGO instumentation: https://www.advancedligo.mit.edu/
See subsystems on the side (seismic isolation, interferometer
control, pre-stabilized laser and data acquisition might be
interesting)
Contact me individually if interested.

Correct to Problem 4A
Correction thanks to Kuan-Yu Lin, expression in 4A should be
y(t) = A(K_0)( 1 - e^{\lambda(K_0)t}) note the A(K_0) term.
Much appreciated,
Jacob
