Snow day cancellation 14-March

MIT is closed on Tuesday 14-March-2017. So here is the plan:

There will be no Class 10 session on "Experience and Service Design". Instead, we will post on Stellar the slides and video from the 2016 session on this topic. View the session if you have time, but given the design review coming up, I would say it is not as important as working with your team on the concepts, models, and preparation for the review and report.

Design review will be held in Class 11 on Thursday 16-March-2017 as scheduled. We will post the rooms for the design review on Stellar so you know where to show up at 1:00pm Thursday. Note there are three parallel review sessions. Please attend the entire session with your team. Then at 2:30pm as usual you can meet with your team after the design review.

Be safe out there if you're out during and after the storm.

Snow Cancellation

No class today due to blizzard with RISD and MIT closing. Here is your assignment:

* We will post video of last year's Class 2 session (as soon as we can find it) for you to view in lieu of today's cancelled class session. Take the time to watch this. I apologize for the poor video quality. It was just using the camera at the back of the room. I hope it will be understandable. Slides will also be posted.

* Our opportunity tournament continues. Please login again to Darwinator and evaluate at least 50 of the 165 opportunities submitted there. This assignment is due tomorrow Friday 11pm.

* Saturday you will receive the small group assignment which requires you to work in a group of 3 to investigate one of the top opportunities using the Real-Win-Worth-it framework, as described in the syllabus and shown on the last slide of today's session.

If you have decided to DROP the class, please let me know so that we can update our roster and will not assign you to a RWW group.

More announcements will follow to let you know when the above items are posted.
