Today's recitation
Dear students,I apologize for running very late today at the recitation. We
computed the maximum likelihood associated with an iid sample
X_1,...X_n, when the observations are
1) Bernoulli with unknown parameter p in (0,1)
2) Poisson with unknown parameter lambda>0
3) Exponential with unknown parameter lambda>0
4) Uniform on [0,t] for some unknown parameter t>0
And we compared the maximum likelihood estimator with the estimator
obtained by the method of moments.
Again, all my apologies for being so late.
Have a good weekend,
Victor
