6.011  Signals, Systems and Inference

Thanks for the kind comments on the evaluations!

We were delighted to see comments that were overall very complimentary regarding the course material and dynamics, the staff, and the textbook**. There was also useful feedback regarding what can be improved, and we'll work on that for the next iteration. Thanks again for making the time and effort to fill in the subject evaluations (we had one of the highest response rates for classes of this size and bigger – will Jonathan give you a rain check on munchkins?!).

**Since 6.011 takes a quite nontraditional cut through material at this (upper undergraduate) level, there aren't other schools we're aware of that have a subject similar enough to this that our textbook would make sense for them. So the feedback we get from you is all the feedback we get, and it's greatly appreciated. (Amazon has just one review of the book, and from someone who evidently knows the MIT curriculum well – we had nothing to do with that review, though it sure reads as though it was planted by the authors or publisher!)

Final exam solutions posted

Hi, everyone. I trust you've had a relaxing weekend, with the semester now behind you. For whatever it's worth, the final exam and solutions are now posted (I'm hoping that I haven't made any errors in transcribing my handwritten solutions to Latex!).
