A former competitive swimmer, graduate student Jerry Lu works to optimize the performance of elite athletes and their sports organizations. By developing his analytical skills at MIT Sloan, he hopes to help build up smaller sports that aren’t as well-funded as the major league operations.

Victoria Li ’15 dreams of the day when mental-health care is as accessible as any other kind of health care. She is working to shape that future through her startup, Heard, which provides therapists with back-office support.
