Information:
This is mainly a workshop class. There will be three major writing assignments generated out of your own experience, which you will revise based on letter responses and workshop conversation. As we focus on writing, you’ll also be developing oral communication skills—in workshops and class conversations. Your written work will culminate with a portfolio of 5,000 words (or more) of well-revised prose at the end of the semester.

Hello,
So, I've put up an assignment page under Homework (General) where you can post your portfolios by tomorrow at 5 PM. I've made it open to the class, so you can read each others'. If you have a problem with that, just let me know and we'll work that out.
As far as the self-assessment goes, you can include it as part of your portfolio or, if you prefer, just hand it to me and not include it in the portfolio. Either is fine with me. Also, you can choose to include your one-page autobiography or not.
If you haven't filled out the online class evaluation, just bring your laptop and and you can do it in class.
