OH and wave propagation movies
Dear Folks,I can be made available for OH on Thur. or Fri. this week. Please let me know if there's a need and if so suggest the day/time.
Movies of propagating electromagnetic waves of ~1 THz frequency can be viewed here:

These are experimental images of electric field, not simulations! The length of each movie (in terms of the actual time) is a few tens of picoseconds.

About quiz 2
Hello!As we said in class...
1- quiz 2 will be on Wed April 18th during class +/- 30 minutes
2- you can find on stellar the formula sheet + some old exams w. sol to practice
3- the formula sheet during the exam will have only vector identities, you have to write your own 1-page for the rest
4- Topics: current, R, circuits, magnetic fields, Biot-Savart, Ampere, induction,...

About Quiz 1
Hello!As we said in class...
1- quiz 1 will be on Thu March 8th during class +/- 30 minutes
2- you can find on stellar the formula sheet + some old exams to practice
3- Apart from my regular OH (mon 4pm) I will be available for extra OH.
When would it be the most useful? During the weekend or on mon/tue/wed? Let me know! Ask also our TAs for extra help and be sure to know how to solve each pb in the psets 1-4
4- Topics: electrostatics-- coulomb law, E, Gauss, electric potential, electric energy, conductors, capacitors

Currently I scheduled the first quiz on March 8th and the second one on April 18th (during class time). You may notice that the last week of class is not planned: we can decide what to do together!
