Information: 

This course focuses upon the application of numerical mathematics and scientific computation to the modern practice of chemical engineering. Subjects include linear algebra, nonlinear algebraic systems, eigenvalue analysis, dynamic simulation, numerical optimization, boundary value problems, probability theory, stochastic simulation, and Bayesian statistics. These techniques are implemented in the MATLAB language for scientific computing.
