Race Results

The race results have been posted.
If you have not already turned them in, please email your final reports or leave them on my desk before tomorrow morning.
If you wish, you may retrieve your example car from the LMP shop after the 21st or during IAP.
I was very glad to see how competitive the races were, sometimes being decided by inches.

Race Day

A few updates about Race Day.
Gerry will be setting up the course in Lobby 13 Wednesday morning, so you can take some practice laps during the day. Just remember to re-charge your batteries before the race.
Also, make sure you bring your tool boxes, totes, and anything else you've received from the LMP shop, as you must return them immediately after the race.
I'll be in my office all day Teusday for any last-minute questions.

Race and reports

The race will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 14th during the regular class period, 2:30-4, in the 1st floor lobby of building 13. Feel free to invide friends, co-workers, etc. The group and individual reports will be due then as well. The car review lecture details what should be in each report. Remember we are also collecting one sample car (that was used in the race) from each group. We will return the cars after grading is complete.
Don't forget to put a thread lock such as lock-tite on your set-screws, take some test drives in lobby 13 to test your traction, and bring your tool boxes and battery chargers to the race for emergency repairs.
There are still a few of Quiz 2 and some old homeworks that were never picked up. I will be in my office all day today and thursday.

You can pick up your graded Quiz 2 in my office (35-135) starting on wed. from 10-12:30, or after the class trip. Statistics are posted in materials.
