16.06 Final
1. For the final, I expect you to be able to design a proportional controller using Bode plots. I do not expect you to carry out a dynamic compensation design using Bode plots. However, for the dynamic compensators we discussed in Lecture 39, you should be familiar with the Bode plot representation and be able to determine compensator characteristics from a Bode plot. You should also be familiar with the general steps of the design processes we carried out for phase-lead and phase-lag compensators in L37 and L39.2. I will hold office hours on Thursday from 10-11am in 37-447.

16.06 Lab 2
The Lab 2 assignment will be handed out on Wednesday and will be due next week on Wednesday Nov 22.There are no formal organised lab sessions. The Quanser lab will be open 9am-5pm Monday through Friday for you to complete the practical part of the assignment.
The TAs will be in the lab to help you:
Thurs Nov 16 4-5pm
Fri Nov 17 12-5pm
If you wish to reserve a specific Quanser for a specific time, there are signup sheets on the door of the lab.
The practical controller design and implementation should take you 1-1.5 hours. After you have designed your controller, there is a fair bit of analysis to carry out, and you are expected to write a formal report. Therefore, do not leave your lab work until the last minute. We strongly encourage you to do the lab work on Thursday or Friday.

Lab report
16.06 students:To clarify, each student is expected to complete their own lab report. Obviously the data will be the same as your teammate, however you are expected to do your own report.
