Quiz 2 will cover the topics covered in the lectures during the second half of the course (after Quiz 1), NOT including the Simulation and the Implementation lectures (Chapters 7 and 8 in the textbook).  The best way to prepare is to review the lecture notes, any accompanying materials that have been posted on the website, and Problem Sets 4, 5 and 6 with their solutions.  Please also review old quizzes and their solutions, but keep in mind that there may be questions in these quizzes on topics that were not covered this year (and for which you are not responsible).

Dear All:

We have reserved a larger room for Quiz 2, because we observed that Room 1-150 is uncomfortable for an "open book" quiz for a class of this size.

The room for Quiz 2 ONLY is 5-217, located quite close to Room 1-150.

As in the case of Quiz 1, we shall begin at 10 a.m. and stop at 12 noon.  The quiz is OPEN BOOK.  We shall also post previous quizzes with their solutions before the weekend to help you prepare.
