15.402   Finance Theory II - Section C

The final exam for 15.402 C will be 9 am to 12 noon, Thursday, December 20, in E51-315.

Students with conflicts will take the final 9 am to 12 noon, Wednesday, December 19 in E52-175.

Office hours in E53-308 will be Friday Dec 14 noon to 2 pm and Wednesday Dec 19 12:45 to 2:15 pm.

As we discussed in class, the final exam will consist of a case to be analyzed, and some questions.  You will be able to use excel when analyzing the case during the exam, and e-mail the solution to my MIT account.  The questions will be handed out in paper form, and you will answer the questions on the paper, so bring a pen or pencil, and hand them in to me at the end of the exam.

Using your computer and excel during the exam is consistent with the way you analyzed all the cases in the class.  It is critically important, and repurcussions will be harsh, that you observe and practice appropriate academic honesty by not opening, accessing, using, receiving, or sending, any form of e-mail or instant messaginc.

Sorry about this late change and late notice, but we will spend more time introducing real options.  On Tuesday, November 27 we will work through Real Options, based on the readings in the text and in the HBR article.  We will not cover the Arundel Partners case on Tuesday.

We will cover Arundel Partners on Thursday, November 29.  You case write up for Arundel is due on Thursday.  We will not cover the MW Petroleum case, as we'll start valuation as scheduled on Tuesday, November 4.
