8.09  Classical Mechanics II

Course Content: 

Formal introduction to classical mechanics, Euler-Lagrange equations, Hamilton's equations of motion used to describe central force motion and scattering. Noether's theorem. Extension to continuous and relativistic systems and classical electrodynamics.
