Quiz 3 solutions
Solutions to quiz 3 and the make-up have been posted.
As a note, for the very last question about relating the question's setup to a historical event, the answer we had in mind was the stagflation of 70s. This was a period of low economic activity with government intervention that failed to stimulate income growth (it was covered in the book and the lectures). A lot of you wrote very different things, such as WWII, the Great Depression, the 1990s, the Bush tax cuts, etc., which had little to do with the question. We will not accept any of those answers, so please don't submit your exam for a re-grade based on those responses. If you wrote any of these answers and got any partial credit, you should be happy.
Best,
Fernando
