I've graded the exam and determined the course grade (using the appropriate weights). You can pick up your exam (containing the grade) with my assistnant Linda Woodbury, who sits right outside my office (251). Stop by too, individually, if you want to see me about it, or send me an email.

updated notes

I updated the notes I posted yesterday. I changed the organization a little bit, added a section (based on what we had covered on the board last Thursday) and stamped out a few bugs (including one where it was stated that max_u H=0 which made no sense.

I posted the notes I projected with today.

By the way, Dan told me his plan for Thursday (remember, he is taking over the lecture time) includes developing some example problem in continuous time (maybe one of the ones I brought up in class) and solving it using the Hamiltonian and otherwise.
